In the winter most people tend to wear darker colors and I am sure you have noticed that I am the complete opposite of that! Usually when I am shopping in the winter and I see something really cute I find that it only comes in black and I wish it came in a fun color. I was so excited when I saw this adorable purple faux fur bolero that was part of the L'Wren Scott collection from Banana Republic. The price was a little high at full price but I waited paitently, checking the price all the time and hoped it would go on sale! Finally it became mine and I did a little happy dance as it was more than 50% off! I love that it is a cropped length making it fit my petite frame wonderfully. Adding a little faux fur to any outfit in the colder weather is a great way to stay warm and chic!

You know my outfit is never complete without a cute little handbag and my Painter's Palette Bag from Mary Frances is perfect!

Gorgeous, love the dress and bolero, stunning colours together. I think you're right....most people wear lots of dark colours in the winter...I used to do that too & it just made me feel so depressed, everything outside is already gray & it's worse wearing the dark colours, but this year I have stuck to colours and I've really haven't been as down about it being so gray out, the colours have made it feel like a tropical kind of winter. And I've preferred the colours. I hope you have a great week doll x

It's funny because I have noticed I do tend to gravitate towards my dark neutrals in the winter but your blog has definitely inspired me to go brighter this season. LOVING this color palette - I would never have thought to pair marigold and magenta but you've proven it to be a chic and stunning combination!
