I have been making a few unique head pieces for myself lately. In a blog post a while back I wore a butterfly fascinator that I made for myself and now I just finished making this apple fascinator. I already own an apple beret that I love but it is more of a fall and winter piece as it is made of wool and wearing wool on my head in this heat wave just isn’t going to work! My goal was to find a more summery apple piece and finding the perfect one was harder than I thought. I couldn’t find one anywhere so I decided to make my own to match my incredible Mary Frances apple bag! I think it turned out just beautiful and matched perfectly. Stripes are still a big trend right now and this dress is just fantastic for layering on some bold accessories!
