Color Wheel

The color wheel is a pretty fun tool to use in fashion.  I love that it can teach even someone with the most basic fashion skills how to color block an outfit perfectly with complimentary colors. The first blog that I ever posted way back in September 2011 was about the color wheel and color blocking!  If you are not too sure about what I am talking about when I talk about the color wheel just see the illustration below.  Complimentary colors are the colors at the exact opposite sides of the wheel.  See how red and green are at the opposite sides of the wheel? This makes them a perfect complimentary match.  I think my apple inspired outfit is a great way to show off how red and green go so beautifully together.

Do you have a favorite complimentary color combination that you like to wear?
