I know a lot of people know the expression ‘How times flies’ and as I get older the more I think that expression is true. This will be my final post of my 12 Month of Vedette Shapewear challenge and I can’t believe it has already been 12 months! For my last post I had to chose a piece of shapewear to style as part of my outfit and I really wanted it to be a fabulous piece to end on. Vedette just recently added some shaping swimwear to their line and I just had to have one for myself. As of right now there are 4 different styles to choose from. The one I chose was the Bettie (click here to see the Bettie). It is the cutest pin-up vintage style swimsuit in a polka dot print. As you can see it is still quite cold here so I wasn’t going to wear this swimsuit as a swimsuit so instead I styled it as a top with my outfit. It honestly feels just like wearing a pretty bodysuit and no one would ever know it was swimwear except yourself which makes it a very versatile piece. As this piece is made in a white with black polka dot pattern it can go with pretty much any color but I wanted to do something more fun than just adding a plain color. I think by adding a plaid patterned coat and patterned tights that it made a nice unexpected mix with the polka dot pattern. The Bettie swimsuit slims my waist and hips making me feel completely comfortable and not self-conscious which is good for when I actually wear it as a swimsuit.
