I mentioned in my last blog post that the midi skirt is one of my favorite clothing trends for spring 2014, so now I thought I would talk about my favorite spring accessory. As we all know no outfit is complete without the perfect accessories! My adorable bird clutch purse called Flight of Fancy (such a fitting name for such a sweet bag!) from Mary Frances is the perfect way to welcome in spring and summer! When the birds start singing outside and the sun is shining bright I know spring has arrived! This bag is so colorful and cute and compliments any outfit so beautifully!

The weather has been hot these past few days and it seems it went from freezing cold to crazy hot in just a week this year! To keep cool I try to wear clothing made of natural fabrics such as cotton or linen as they let my skin breathe so much better than something made of polyester. These types of fabrics do cost a little more but they are definitely worth the investment! I think a cute printed cotton blouse is perfect to wear all spring and summer long. It just so happens that the printed blouse that I am wearing is a perfect match for my tea cup hat!
